Catfishing!!!

The HEB grocery store in Bee Caves was remodeled and so they put on a big catfishing event for keiki. It was so cute. We met up with Nikki, Kaeli and Makena and we did some fishing. 

Ryenne got two fish on the line - big ones - but we didn't land them. She got to feel them tugging at her pole though! It was really fun and such a great time. It was Ry's first time fishing!

V-Day

I forgot to post about our Valentines Day!!

Well... me, Ry, and Kai woke up and Peter had left out a bouquet of tulips for me with a really sweet card and a card and chocolate rose for Ry. It was so cute. 

Then the three of us and Pops went out to get donuts. We brought home a dozen of a variety including a pink one with sprinkles that Ry picked out. What a treat!!!

It was a really great day. I even got a nap!!

Happy Valentines Day

I could swear...

I could swear that Kai has learned how to say "mama"... he was so mad last night and wanted to nurse and he kept saying "Mama.... mama...." and then he said it again and Peter heard it too. Coincidence? I don't know... one things for sure - HE IS SUCH A MOMMY'S BOY!!! 

He wants to be with me at all times. It's hilarious. He can track me from across the room.

It was a totally gorgeous day today... near 80 degrees and super beautiful. We had lunch with a group of Filipino's that gets together weekly and we felt soooo welcomed. It was awesome. Then we spent the afternoon out in the front yard playing in the water and Peter washed my car. 

More firsts today!

This is the first time that Ryenne is going to "officially" have a Valentines exchange at her school next week so I decided that I'm going to make some little V-Day cards for her to give her friends. We went out in the front yard for a little photo shoot and I gave her a marshmallow Lollipop as a prop and told her she could eat it AFTER the shoot. Oh boy did I get stink eye! Check it out... heehee

The shoot was really cute though and you'll see what I got when I post it up for Valentines Day =) 

Is it possible that babies can grow in one day? I think it is! Kai grew since yesterday - I'm sure of it! And today he started a couple new things... he is now reaching down and grabbing his feet which I think is just sooooo cute! And, in true BOY fashion, he's now making farting noises with his mouth. Not quite the full raspberries yet... but boy he's having so much fun! 

He's also quite the eater! In addition to his rice cereal, he's also enjoying carrots, sweet potatoes, pears, and peaches. He loves to eat and he loves to nurse. No wonder he's so big! 

Library Day

Peter got full time status as overnight doorman and it was his first night last night so I figured I'd get the kids out of the house in the morning so he would have some quiet to go to sleep. So we went and checked out the Manchaca public library, which is pretty near our house! 

We got there and went into the kids book section and the librarian came and told us that story time was starting in a few minutes - SCORE! We went into the little room where they have story time and there were about 10 other kids there. They started with singing and dancing and then read three stories. Ryenne was really into it! I think her favorite part was when they shook the sillies out. She thought that was hilarious! 

At the end, they had little bear finger puppets that each kid could color. It was awesome! We'll for sure be going back every week. 

And of course Ry is rockin' her Maui Built gear. =)

Kai's 4 Month Birthday!!!

We started the day going to the gym this morning. Kai took a nap and flirted with the gym ladies (so I heard) while I did a 7 mile bike ride! I am feelin it! hahaha

Ryenne played outside in the hose cause it was near 80 degrees today! You probably are wondering why there's not a lot of pictures of Ry lately. Well she's been pretty much nakey 24/7 and using the potty like a champ!

Kai is still a little sick so his 4 month pics aren't very imaginative on my part - but cute nonetheless because it's him!
